Who we are and what this covers
ParkTEC, LLC operates parktec.com and ParkTEC Billing, a private integration used by authorized ParkTEC personnel to administer ParkTEC's own accounting and customer billing. ParkTEC Billing is not a public accounting service or a service that invites unrelated businesses to connect their books.

Information we handle
Website inquiries may include a person's name, email address, telephone number, subject, and information they choose to submit. Our hosting infrastructure and service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, and request logs to deliver and protect their services.
When an authorized company administrator connects QuickBooks Online, ParkTEC Billing may retrieve company details, customers, vendors, invoices and line items, recorded expenses and other supported accounting transactions, currencies, tax information, and payment status. OAuth credentials authorize the connection; the integration does not ask for or store the administrator's QuickBooks password.
If a Huntress integration is enabled, ParkTEC may also use organization, product, and seat-count information needed to calculate customer charges. This does not mean the integration has access to all Huntress security telemetry.
Why we use information
We use this information to respond to inquiries, review expenses, identify costs eligible for customer billing, compare historical transactions, propose billing rules, prepare invoice proposals, and track billing work. We also use information as needed to operate and secure the integration and meet accounting or legal obligations.
The initial accounting workflow is read-only. Proposed rules and invoices require ParkTEC review. QuickBooks' accounting authorization can technically permit writes; read-only restrictions are applied by our integration. Any later accounting-write capability requires a separately approved workflow. Invoices and outbound messages are not sent automatically without ParkTEC authorization.
Providers and AI-assisted processing
The website's contact form is supplied by Cognito Forms. Remote support links open an external ScreenConnect service. QuickBooks data is obtained from Intuit; Huntress supplies any enabled seat information. These providers also have their own terms and privacy notices.
ParkTEC may use AI-assisted processing through Hermes Agent to compare transactions and prepare suggestions. ParkTEC has approved OpenAI as the model provider for relevant accounting analysis in this workflow. Other AI providers require separate approval. Only information needed for the approved task should be shared. We do not claim that AI processing has zero retention or is excluded from training unless the applicable provider agreement and account settings have been verified.
The website and integration are hosted on ParkTEC's server in Toronto, Canada; authorized local administration also takes place on ParkTEC's computer. AI and other service providers may process information in other countries under their applicable terms.
ParkTEC does not sell personal information or use QuickBooks accounting data for targeted advertising. Service providers receive information only for the authorized operational purposes described here or as required by law.
Security
The public website uses HTTPS. Accounting credentials and financial records must not be placed in the public website directory. The integration uses restricted operator access and protected credential and encrypted token storage. Access-control and token-handling safeguards are tested before a live accounting connection is enabled. No internet-based system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained only as needed for the stated business purposes and applicable accounting, contractual, security, or legal obligations. An OAuth connection and a local copy of accounting data are not the same thing: revoking access stops future retrieval but does not delete records held by QuickBooks, remove previously approved transactions, or automatically erase existing local copies and backups.
Contact hyuk@parktec.com to request access, correction, or deletion of information handled by ParkTEC. We may verify the requester's authority and retain records where required by law or for legitimate accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. Deletion from backups may follow the applicable backup lifecycle. Third-party provider retention is governed by the applicable provider arrangements.
Disconnecting and changes
An authorized administrator can revoke access using QuickBooks' connected-app controls or request assistance from ParkTEC. Visiting an informational disconnect page alone does not revoke access. Reconnection requires a new authorization when applicable.
We may update this notice when our practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current published version.
